Today I want to show you a project by Alejandro Aravena, Chilean architect that two days ago won the prestigious Pritzker Prize (a sort of Nobel Prize for architects).

Meravigliosa Siria | Wonderful Syria

Forse qualcuno non sa che in Siria ci sono luoghi meravigliosi, o meglio c'erano.

La guerra sta distruggendo tutto: città, siti archeologici, persone, dignità, speranza...

Ma qui mi limiterò ad illustrarvi le bellezze artistiche e architettoniche che la guerra sta sgretolando.

Maybe someone doesn't know that in Syria there are wonderful places, well there were.

The war is destroying everything: cities, archaeological sites, people, dignity, hope...

But here I will just show you the artistic and architectural beauties that war is crumbling.

Vacanze a Comacchio finite... | Holidays in Comacchio finished...

Eccomi tornata dalle vacanze!
Dato che è venuta anche la mia cagnolina Penny, sono andata in un campeggio nella riserva naturale Sacca di Bellocchio: immerso nella natura e con spiaggia riservata ai cani (che possono anche fare il bagno). La zona è ricca di luoghi interessanti da visitare: naturali, come il Parco del Delta che abbiamo visitato in battello; artistici come la cittadina di Comacchio (con il celebre Trepponti, visto sui libri di architettura) e la meravigliosa Ravenna.
Ci sarebbero state altre cose da vedere, ma in una sola settimana non mi era possibile, volendo rilassarmi anche un po' in spiaggia.

I'm back from my holidays!
I brought my dog Penny with me, so I went to a camping in the natural reserve "Sacca di Bellocchio": surrounded by nature and with a beach for dogs (that can also swim). The area is full of interesting places to visit: natural, as the Parco del Delta which we visited by boat; artistics as the town of Comacchio (with the famous Trepponti seen on architecture's books) and the wonderful Ravenna.
There would be other things to see, but in a week I couldn't, because I wanted to relax a bit on the beach too.

Andrò in Marocco... | I'll go to Morocco...

Sì, un giorno andrò in Marocco. Questo Paese mi affascina da molto tempo ma ancora di più dopo aver letto il libro "Il cantastorie di Marrakech" di Roy-Bhattacharya Joydeep.
Mi piacerebbe in particolare camminare nella famosa piazza di Marrakech Jemaa-el-Fna, assaggiare i cibi ed ascoltare uno dei cantastorie (anche se non capirei).
Ma vorrei visitare anche Fes, Essaouira, Chefchaouen... e dopo aver camminato sotto il sole cocente, sedermi a bere un tè alla menta. E dormire in un riad dall'atmosfera magica e romantica...
Oggi voglio sognare e guardando le foto magari sognerete un po' anche voi...

Yes, one day I'll go to Morocco. This Country has fascinated me for a long time, especially after reading the book "The storyteller of Marrakech" written by Roy-Bhattacharya Joydeep.
I'd like walking in the famous Jemaa-el-Fna square of Marrakech, tasting the food and listening to one of the storytellers (although I would not understand him).
But I would also visit Fes, Essaouira, Chefchaouen... and after walking in the hot sun, sit down to drink a mint tea. And sleep in the magic and romantic atmosphere of a riad...
Today I want to dream and maybe looking at the pictures you'll dream too...
