Artisti in erba | Budding artists

L'anno scorso ho organizzato un corso d'arte per bambini, che ho denominato Artisti in erba, nella prima settimana dopo la fine della scuola (dal 12 al 16 giugno 2017).
Il corso era di cinque giornate, dal lunedì al venerdì, in ciascuna delle quali affrontavo una diversa corrente artistica da cui prendeva il via un progetto da eseguire con diversi materiali: Puntinismo, Impressionismo, De Stijl, Pop-art, Land-art, colori acrilici, tempere, acquarelli, pennarelli... I bambini restavano dalle 8 alle 16 e nella giornata si alternavano momenti di gioco, spuntini, chiacchiere e momenti di lavoro accompagnati da musica.
Quest'anno farò una nuova edizione del corso, Artisti in erba 2 che si svolgerà dall'11 al 15 giugno: nuovi argomenti, materiali, progetti...
Intanto vi mostro le foto che riassumono i progetti di ciascuna giornata della prima edizione e il volantino.

My Harry Potter Halloween party 2017

Lo so, è già passato quasi un mese... ma solo ora ho tempo di raccontarvi (con le immagini) la festa che ho organizzato per Halloween: il tema stavolta era Harry Potter. Dopo aver cercato su Pinterest tutte le idee a riguardo, io e mia figlia Camilla le abbiamo realizzate.
Ecco il risultato.

My Halloween party 2016

Ormai è il terzo anno. Le bambine crescono ma già da più di un mese progettavano decorazioni, regali per le ospiti  e tutto il resto! Quest'anno un po' di decori sono riciclati dagli anni scorsi ovviamente, ma cercando di reinterpretarli quando possibile (il caminetto non è cambiato... ma ora ho buttato la sagoma di cartone del mostro così l'anno prossimo cambieremo!).

Come vi sembra? Meglio o peggio del 2015 e del 2014?

Now is the third year. Girls grow but more than a month ago they were already planning decorations, guest gifts and everything else! This year some decorations are recycled from past years (of course), but trying to reinterpret them when possible (the fireplace is not changed... but now I throw away the silhouette of the monster so next year we will change!).

How does it look? Better or worse than 2015 and 2014?

Pacchetti argento, turchese e giallo | Silver+Turquoise+Yellow packages

Quest'anno sono stata bravissima: settimana scorsa avevo già tutti i regali di Natale e oggi ho terminato i pacchetti! Credo non sia mai successo... forse nevicherà parecchio quest'inverno.
Ho scelto la carta da pacco marrone (come l'anno scorso... la adoro!) abbinata all'argento, al turchese e al giallo delle targhette. Ci sono i pacchetti classici per i regali di forma squadrata e ho fatto dei sacchetti per quelli morbidi o di forma irregolare: come sono venuti?

This year I've been very good: last week all the Christmas presents were bought and today I finished packages! I guess it never happened before... maybe it will snow a lot this winter.
I chose the brown wrapping paper (like last year ... I love it!) Combined with silver, turquoise and yellow tags. I made normal packages for squared gifts and bags for those soft or irregularly shaped: what do you think about them?

Festa a tema: Minions! | Minions Party!

L'anno scorso il tema della festa di compleanno erano le stelline.
Quest'anno avrei fatto una normale festa, senza temi... ma ormai mia figlia si era abituata troppo bene! Così abbiamo deciso per il tema Minions: ho cercato e raccolto spunti su Pinterest e poi ho deciso cosa fare.

Last year the birthday party theme were the little stars.
This year I would have a normal party, no subjects... but my daughter had become accustomed too well! So we decided for the Minions theme: I searched and collected ideas on my Pinterest board and then I decided what to do.

My Halloween party 2015

Ebbene anche per quest'anno il pigiama party è finito...

Ho ripulito casa con la mia scopa da strega-madre nell'assordante silenzio del soggiorno. Alla fine ho realizzato la metà degli addobbi e delle ricette che mi ero ripromessa di fare, ma le otto streghette si sono divertite e io con loro: l'entusiasmo, la pazzia e la gioia sono contagiosi!

Si fatica un po' per preparare tutto ma la ricompensa è stata vedere le facce stupite delle bambine notando i particolari.

Volete vederli anche voi? Ma certo, ecco qua...

Well, for this year slumber party it's over...

I cleaned the house with my witch-mother broom in the stunning silence of the living room. Eventually I realized half of the decorations and recipes that I had promised to do, but the eight witches had fun and me too: the enthusiasm, madness and joy are contagious!

You need a little effort to prepare everything but the reward has been to see the surprised faces of the girls noting the details.

Volevo realizzare una confezione originale per un set di bigiotteria da regalare alla mia little sister. Ho guardato e riguardato su Pinterest, per prendere spunto... e alla fine mi è venuta l'idea di metterli in un vaso per conserve! Dopotutto sono cose da conservare...

Voglio cambiare colore allo specchio del bagno! Inizialmente era in foglia oro, ma dopo qualche anno si era rovinato. Allora li dipinsi di nero... ma non mi è mai piaciuto così! Adesso indovinate di che colore lo farò?

Approfittando ancora dell'assenza delle mie figlie, ho deciso di fare un po' di decluttering* nella loro cameretta: quando ci sono loro non mi lasciano buttare niente, neanche i giochini da neonati!

Come riorganizzare un cassetto | DIY Drawer organizer

Figlie al mare con i nonni. Giornata uggiosa. Voglia di mettere ordine dove non lo faccio... da anni.

E così ho deciso di riorganizzare il mio cassetto del comò.

Dopo aver fatto un progettino del divisorio che avrei voluto realizzare, ho comprato da Leroy Merlin un foglio di MDF spesso 4 mm per la folle cifra di 1€ (era un ritaglio circa 80 x 30 cm).

Ho disegnato a matita le sagome da ritagliare e poi ho proceduto al taglio con il cutter e il traforo.

Ottenute le sagome ho passato la carta vetrata per regolarizzare e lisciare i bordi e infine ho incastrato i pezzi: cosa ne dite?

Daughters on holiday with grandparents. Gloomy day. Desire to bring order where I didn't... for years.

And so I decided to reorganize my dresser drawer.

After making a little project of the partition that I wanted to accomplish, I bought from Leroy Merlin a 4 mm thick sheet of MDF  for the crazy amount of 1€ (it was a clipping about 80 x 30 cm).

I drew with pencil the shapes to be cut out and then I proceeded to cut with cutter and fretsaw.

After obtaining the shapes, I spent sandpaper to regulate and smooth the edges and then I stuck the pieces: what do you think?

OCCORRENTE:

Baffi e cuori sulle mollette | Moustache and hearts on clothespins

La mia figlia maggiore Alice un sabato pomeriggio è andata in centro Bergamo con un'amica e la mamma di quest'ultima (che è amica mia). Era la prima volta che andava a spasso con un'amica, dato che ha nove anni. Le abbiamo dato dei soldi per comprarsi il gelato ma siccome gliel'ha offerto la mia amica, lei ha deciso di usare i soldi per comprare da Tiger dei regalini alla mamma, al papà e a sua sorella. Non è tenera?
Il mio regalo era un nastro adesivo con dei cuoricini e quello per il papà un nastro adesivo con dei baffi: stamattina li ho utilizzati per fare delle mollette chiudipacco, per chiudere le confezioni di biscotti, di caffè, di pasta, di zucchero a velo... eccetera. Vi piacciono?

On a Saturday afternoon my older daughter Alice went in Bergamo's center with a friend and her mother (which is my friend). It was the first time she went for a walk with a friend, because she's only nine years old. We gave her some money to buy ice cream but since my friend offered it to her, she decided to use the money to buy from Tiger some gifts to mom, dad and sister. Isn't she tender?
My gift was an adhesive tape with little hearts and dad's gift was a tape with mustache: this morning I used them to make clips, to close biscuits packs, coffee packs, pasta packs, powdered sugar packs... and so on. Do you like them?

Ecco il mio portacollane! | Here's my necklaces holder!

Era da tanto tempo che volevo farmi un porta collane, per poterle avere tutte bene in vista e poterle scegliere più facilmente. Finora le tenevo nel cassetto e qualcuna dimenticavo perfino di averla, dato che ne ho parecchie (tutte rigorosamente bigiotteria, dato che ci hanno visitato i ladri per due volte e mi hanno ripulito di tutto l'oro e l'argento...).
Così sulla mia bacheca FAIDATE di Pinterest raccoglievo anche idee per fare il porta collane.
Poi mi sono ricordata che avevo comprato delle grucce appendiabiti per l'armadio delle mie figlie ma siccome il bastone è ovale non ci entrano... quindi erano inutilizzate. E allora mi è venuta l'idea di riutilizzarle per il mio porta collane... com'è venuto? Io sono molto soddisfatta!

It was a long time that I wanted to make a necklaces holder, to have them all in full view and to choose them more easily. So far I kept my necklaces in the drawer and I even forgot to have some of them, because I have several (strictly jewelery, since thieves visited us twice and stole all gold and silver...).
So on my DIY Pinterest board I pinned ideas for making the necklaces organizer.
Then I remembered that once I bought some coat hangers for my daughters' closet but they doesn't fit on the oval stick... so they were unused. And so I got the idea to reuse them to make my necklaces holder... how is it? I am very satisfied!

Contenitori per giochi faidate | DIY toy boxes

Come promesso ieri, oggi vi mostro i contenitori per giocattoli con ruote, progettati da me e realizzati in legno compensato da Giorgio Perego, un amico falegname (quasi parente, si può dire) per la cameretta delle mie figlie.
Sono fatti su misura per entrare nella libreria in cartongesso realizzata da mio marito (tutti maniaci del faidate in famiglia...). Vi metto anche il disegno, nel caso vorreste realizzarne di simili.

Vi aspetto domani per mostrarvi un'altra mia realizzazione: un porta collane.

As promised you yesterday, today I show you toy boxes with wheels, designed by me and made of plywood by Giorgio Perego, a carpenter friend (almost a relative, I can tell) for my daughters bedroom.
They are tailor-made to enter the plasterboard bookshelf made by my husband (all DIY maniacs in my family...). I post also my drawing, if you would like to realize them.

I wait for you tomorrow to show another of my creations: a necklace holder.
