Vano scala in bianco e nero | Black and white staircase

Come ben sapete, la mia casa è molto colorata.
Nel vano scala invece ho pensato di far riposare un po' l'occhio, eccitato dal tripudio di colori. La galleria fotografica di famiglia sarà ampliata ed arricchita nel tempo, man mano che troverò foto interessanti e cornici adatte a contenerle.

As you know, my house is very colorful.
So I decided to rest the eye, excited by the riot of colors, in the stairwell. The Family photo gallery will expand over time, when I'll find interesting photos and suitable frames.

Verde acido sempre in auge! | Lime Green On My Mind!

E ancora una volta, senza rendermene conto, ho aggiunto un elemento verde acido alla mia casa: due candele alte per i miei portacandele Zampe-di-gallina (realizzati anni fa da mio marito).
E' un colore che ricorda quello dell'erbetta e delle foglioline appena spuntate, quindi fa molto primavera, no?

And once again, without realizing it, I added some lime green to my Home: two tall candles for my Chicken Feet Candleholders (made years ago by my husband).
This color reminds me fresh spring grass and leaves, so "it makes Springtime", doesn't it?

Oggi sono senza auto, perché è a fare la revisione. A piedi si ha il tempo di fotografare cose che in auto ti sfrecciano accanto senza notarle: una bellissima inferriata a cerchi, street art...

Ecco il mio portacollane! | Here's my necklaces holder!

Era da tanto tempo che volevo farmi un porta collane, per poterle avere tutte bene in vista e poterle scegliere più facilmente. Finora le tenevo nel cassetto e qualcuna dimenticavo perfino di averla, dato che ne ho parecchie (tutte rigorosamente bigiotteria, dato che ci hanno visitato i ladri per due volte e mi hanno ripulito di tutto l'oro e l'argento...).
Così sulla mia bacheca FAIDATE di Pinterest raccoglievo anche idee per fare il porta collane.
Poi mi sono ricordata che avevo comprato delle grucce appendiabiti per l'armadio delle mie figlie ma siccome il bastone è ovale non ci entrano... quindi erano inutilizzate. E allora mi è venuta l'idea di riutilizzarle per il mio porta collane... com'è venuto? Io sono molto soddisfatta!

It was a long time that I wanted to make a necklaces holder, to have them all in full view and to choose them more easily. So far I kept my necklaces in the drawer and I even forgot to have some of them, because I have several (strictly jewelery, since thieves visited us twice and stole all gold and silver...).
So on my DIY Pinterest board I pinned ideas for making the necklaces organizer.
Then I remembered that once I bought some coat hangers for my daughters' closet but they doesn't fit on the oval stick... so they were unused. And so I got the idea to reuse them to make my necklaces holder... how is it? I am very satisfied!

Contenitori per giochi faidate | DIY toy boxes

Come promesso ieri, oggi vi mostro i contenitori per giocattoli con ruote, progettati da me e realizzati in legno compensato da Giorgio Perego, un amico falegname (quasi parente, si può dire) per la cameretta delle mie figlie.
Sono fatti su misura per entrare nella libreria in cartongesso realizzata da mio marito (tutti maniaci del faidate in famiglia...). Vi metto anche il disegno, nel caso vorreste realizzarne di simili.

Vi aspetto domani per mostrarvi un'altra mia realizzazione: un porta collane.

As promised you yesterday, today I show you toy boxes with wheels, designed by me and made of plywood by Giorgio Perego, a carpenter friend (almost a relative, I can tell) for my daughters bedroom.
They are tailor-made to enter the plasterboard bookshelf made by my husband (all DIY maniacs in my family...). I post also my drawing, if you would like to realize them.

I wait for you tomorrow to show another of my creations: a necklace holder.

Cosa ci appenderai? | What will you hang?

Nella cameretta delle mie bambine (che avete visto nel post in cui vi mostro la mia casa) ho realizzato un angolo per appendere borsettine o abitini con i bellissimi ganci KROKIG dell'Ikea.
Vi piace?

Domani vi farò vedere un altro elemento introdotto nella cameretta, realizzato da un falegname su mio progetto.

In my girls room (that you've seen in the post where I showed you my home) I realized a wall to hang little bags or clothes with the beautiful KROKIG hooks by Ikea.

Festa a tema: stelline! | Little Stars Party Theme!

Qualche tempo fa ho organizzato la festa di compleanno della mia figlia più piccola.
Il tema erano le stelline: quindi c'erano stelline sugli inviti, sul muro, sulla torta, sui tramezzini al prosciutto, sui bicchieri come segnaposto, sulla corona per la festeggiata e sui regalini per le invitate... rigorosamente tutte femmine.
Alle bambine è piaciuto... e a voi?

Per i sandwiches basta usare fette di pane bianco e integrale, tagliarle con una formina per bisotti a forma di stella e scambiare tra loro le stelle di diverso colore.]

Some time ago I organized the birthday party of my youngest daughter.
The theme were the stars: so there were little stars on the calls, on the wall, on the cake, on ham sandwiches, on glasses as placeholder, on the crown for the birthday girl and on the party favours for guests... rigorously females.
Girls liked it... and you?

[Here you can find Pan di Stelle cake recipe (but it's written in italian).
For the star sandwiches you just have to use white and brown bread, cut stars with bicuits star shaper and interchange different color stars.]

Progetto di Graphic Design per due musicisti. | Graphic Design Project for two musicians.

Oggi ho ridisegnato il volantino pubblicitario di un amico musicista perché quello che aveva mi sembrava un po' datato. Mi ha detto che la foto però gli piaceva e voleva mantenerla.
Suona musica country insieme ad un'amica, quindi il design che gli ho proposto è in style western.
Cosa dite? Ho migliorato la loro immagine?

Today I redesigned the flyer of a musician friend because the old one seemed a bit outdated. He likes the photo on the old flyer and he asked me to preserve it.
He plays country music along with a friend, so I suggested him a western style design.
What do you think? Did I improve their image?
